Take Profit (T/P) is a type of limit order that lets you automatically close a trade when it reaches your target profit. When the price hits your set level, the system closes the position and locks in your profit without needing manual intervention.
Why use Take Profit? Because it helps you secure profits efficiently. Setting a realistic target makes it more likely that your trade will reach it. Small and achievable goals are often better than waiting too long and missing the chance to exit at a good price.
⚙️ How Take Profit Works
- Take Profit can be set on any active instruments.
- Once set, the app tracks your instruments in real time based on live price updates.
- If the price reaches your Take Profit level, a notification is triggered.
- The app then closes your open trade and locks in the profit automatically.
📌 How to Set Take Profit
- Open an instruments and tap Buy or Sell at the bottom.
- Set your trade volume (Lot), then tap Active SL/TP to enable Take Profit and Stop Loss settings.
- Enter your desired Take Profit price. Then, tap Buy or Sell to confirm.
⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind
While setting Take Profit is simple, doing it carelessly can cause you to miss better opportunities or exit too early. Here are two important tips:
- Be realistic: Don’t set profit targets that are too high. Your Take Profit should reflect what’s actually achievable based on your market analysis.
- Avoid greed: Trying to maximize every trade can backfire. Take Profit works best when paired with a consistent, disciplined strategy.
Reminder: Take Profit helps you trade more efficiently even when you're not online. Just set it, stick to your plan, and let the system work for you!
